2022 Green Family Disneyland Ride Stats

Because I'm a numbers guy, every year I keep stats of each ride that every member of our family goes on during our annual trip to Disneyland. I print out ride charts and have each person mark down each ride they go on. It's fun for me to see how many times we went on each ride and compare them from year to year. Five of us went for three days this summer ranging in age from 8 to 46. My son, Trey, and I also went for 1 day in February. Here's a look at our stats:

Attraction Stats (The number of times we rode each attraction):

Star Tours replaces Splash Mountain as the attraction we attended the most this year, after a four year run at the top for Splash Mountain.

We had a new winner this year - Star Tours! For the past 4 years Splash Mountain has been the attraction that we went on the most but this year it was 3rd for a couple of reasons. First, my son, Trey, and I went to Disneyland in February (which is included in this count) and Splash Mountain was closed, and second because my 8-year old, Judi, was a little tentative to go on the final big drop on Splash Mountain this year. One of our times on Star Tours this year, my daughter, Shelby, was the "Rebel Spy" and the ride actually broke down on that adventure and we were ushered off and taken to a different simulator. Without further ado, here are the stats:

Next up, we'll look at which "lands" in each park we spent the most time in. I used to also show which park (Disneyland vs California Adventure) we spent more time in because we used to get park-hopper tickets which allowed you to go back and forth between the 2 parks at your convenience. But now that Disney has imposed restrictions on when you can get into each park with the park-hopper addition to your ticket, it just isn't worth paying the extra $60 to do it. This year we spent 2 days at Disneyland and 1 at California Adventure. Here's a look at the number of attractions we went on in each land in both parks:
Over 25% of all attractions we went on were located in Disneyland's Fantasyland.

Finally, every year I like to see what everyone's favorite attraction is. I have each person write down their top 10 favorite attractions and then assign 10 points for their top choice, 9 points for their second favorite and on down to 1 point for their 10th favorite. Here are our family's (consisting of 5 people) favorite attractions - and the winner is:
 Splash Mountain!
