I needed a place to stay near Disneyland in early December on short notice because I wanted to attend the Van Eaton Gallery's Disneyland auction. Most of the hotels across the street from Disneyland on Harbor Blvd were booked so I decided to venture a little further away from the Magic Kingdom.
The Kings Inn Anaheim is located just South-East of Disneyland on Katella Ave, just a few hundred yards from the intersection with Harbor Blvd. While it was a little bit more of a walk than we are accustomed to, my five year old had no problem walking to Downtown Disney and back both nights after the auction.
There was a nice breakfast in the morning, featuring waffles, cereal, pastries, and fruit. The staff was good and the rooms were just what we needed. Here are some pictures:
When you pull into the driveway, this is your view. |
Unlike most of the hotels across the street from Disneyland, the Kings Inn has plenty of parking which as nice. |
Here's a look inside the room when you first enter. |
We enjoyed our stay at the Kings Inn and although it is a little bit farther away from Disneyland than we typically like to stay, walking there and back once a day wasn't too bad. You can visit the Kings Inn Website here. I also have another blog post entitled, Where to Stay at Disneyland which looks at a number of the nearby hotels.
