2019 Green Family Disneyland Ride Stats

Disneyland is my passion. It stems from nostalgic memories I have of going there with my Mother, and the desire I have to create similar happy memories with my children. One of my hobbies happens to be statistics. So when you combine Disneyland with statistics, you get the following information below:

Attraction Stats: (which attractions did our family ride the most on our 4 day trip this year)

And the winner, for the 3rd year in a row is, Splash Mountain!

When we vacation at the Disneyland Resort, we always get park hopper tickets (meaning that we can go to both Disneyland and California Adventure). So the next stat I track is how much of our time we spend in Disneyland vs California Adventure. Here are the 2019 results:

No surprise...we spent over 77% of our time in Disneyland. It is by far the better park.

Both Disneyland and California Adventure are made up of themed areas called, "Lands". Here is a breakdown of what "Lands" we spend the most time in:

27% of our time (based on the attractions we rode) was spent in Fantasyland. As a side note, only 2.2% of our time was spent in the brand new, 14 acre Galaxy's Edge.

It is fun to see what everyone's favorite attraction is. Each year, I have each member of our family list their top 10 attractions. I assign 10 points to their favorite attraction, 9 to the second favorite, all the way down to 1 point for their 10th favorite.  Our family this year consisted of 7 people - Liz and Myself, and our kids, ages 16, 13, 12, 10, and 5. Here are the results:
